Empara Expands Healthcare Accessibility with New Multi-Language Capability

Collinsville, CT — December 3, 2024 — Empara, a leader in healthcare engagement technology, is proud to announce the release of its new Multi-Language capability within its member app and platform. This enhancement reflects Empara’s ongoing commitment to health equity, accessibility, and improving health outcomes by making healthcare tools more inclusive for diverse member populations. 

With this new feature, the Empara Health Engagement Platform now enables Spanish-speaking members to access their health benefits more easily and engage with digital tools designed to simplify their healthcare experience. The Empara app, including Em, the AI-powered virtual assistant, automatically detects a member’s device language settings and displays content in Spanish. Alternatively, users can manually switch their language preferences in the app’s account settings.

The new feature enhances the experience for members while also addressing important compliance and legal requirements. It allows clients and the partners that support them—to better serve Spanish-speaking members with tools like the Message Center, where administrators can also create and assign topics to Spanish-speaking service teams for tailored support.
